Airborne Jeep Parts

Reproduction steering wheel adapters. I've made quite a number of these now, both the early plastic wheel type and the later steel spoked wheel type. These are exact copies of an original adapter. Go to Airborne wheel for detailed information and photo's

Horn button. The standard horn button couldn't be used with the steering wheel adapter, so the British army used these Lucas buttons, either mounted on the dash or on a bracket on the column.

Axle flood lamp switch. These switches were mounted on the back panel or on the rear crossmember to switch the axle flood lamp on.

Axle flood lamp. Mounted at the rear to shine on the white painted diff cover for convoy driving.

Trailer connector. Two pin bayonette fitting trailer socket and plug used on airborne jeeps and trailers.

Lucas junction block, 2 way, 4 way and 6 way. Used on airborne and GS British wartime trailers also used on jeeps overhauled by the British.

Gun clips. I couldn't find the wartime gun clips and some friends were having the same problem, so I had these made from the correct spring steel, lined with leather, fixed with the correct copper rivets, exactly like the original.
