Landrover roll over angle
I bought myself a wee cheap Lev-O-Gage from the states and once I'd fitted it I started to wonder just how far it was safe to go...... couldn't find the answer anywhere, so it's time to experiment!! I measured the angle with an accurate spirit level angle gauge on the front bumper but as no one volunteered to be the "driver" the real world roll angle may be slightly different......

The victim and the cause of this foolishness :o)

22 degrees.

30 degrees, quite enough to make me very nervous driving on a side slope.

45 degrees, still quite stable and far from falling over, could be very different in a bumpy field.....

52 degrees. At 50 degrees it's still wanting to fall back onto it's wheels, but another 2 degrees and it's sitting on the "pit prop". I moved the tractor out of the way and just a gentle push was enough to sit Lucky Lucy back on her wheels with hardly a bounce.

My rusty but wonderfull International B275 tractor.
